International Approved Pearlescent Pigments
US regulations define the identity of pearlescent pigments as pigments where titanium salts are deposited onto mica. This regulation unfortunately excludes iron salts deposited onto mica. Iron salts generate a luxurious range of reds, ambers, and golds.
