Arbutin, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate
- An aqueous solution of highly purified natural arbutin extracted from bearberry leaves (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi) and a vitamin C derivative (magnesium ascorbyl phosphate) for a gentle way to lighten skin.
- In vitro:
- 100% tyrosinase inhibition was obtained at 1% MELFADE® PF
- 50% tyrosinase inhibition was obtained at 0.1% MELFADE® PF
- In vivo:
- Shown to lighten the color of the skin approximately 80% more than Arbtuin alone
