- This vegetable derived ingredient was designed to mimic the qualities of petrolatum without using hydrocarbon acting as a skin softener, conditioner and moisture barrier.
- Petalatum™ does not rely on a crystalline structure for its form, therefore it can be used in formulations requiring heat without a loss of structure. This was accomplished by using multiple hydrogenation fractions of a variety of phytolipids in the creation process.
