Pistachio is an extract from the seeds of Pistacia vera L. Pistachio nuts contain protein, lipids, carbohydrates and minerals. They are rich in oleic acid, which helps to reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Principal cosmetic actions include moisturizing, improving elasticity, soothing and firming and anti-hair loss activity.
