Capsicum is a fruit, with components having strong hyperaemic and rubefacient effects on the skin by increasing neuron-peptide release and directly stimulating local blood flow. The capsaicin component is mainly responsible for the benefits seen through massage creams, anti-cellulite products and hair treatments.
Recommended use level: 0.1 - 0.3%.
